Join Opera del West for a comic one-act opera called Pepito.  This is a new work in English by up and coming composer Nicolas Lell Benavides and librettist Marella Martin Koch about a dog looking for his forever home.  As we celebrate all of our Covid pets we will round out this one hour program with art songs about animals by composers Emmanuel Chabrier, Ernest Chausson, Dan Shore, Rachel Portman and Juliana Hall.
